Prior to my appointment as an engineer, I worked at Beko for a year and a half, since January 2021. Have started my work as a technician in the powder coating shop. I had a lot of responsibilities: quality control of almost all workshop operation processes , and, of course, the surface coating inspection - for powder and cataphoretic coatings. I was required to monitor equipment to become sure that it functions perfectly, order spare parts so that they were always at hand in case of breakdown: the faster we change, the shorter will be idle production periods. Modernization, installation of new equipment - everything is based on technology, it is almost same to well known engineer duties, but with different degree of responsibility. I had already performed some engineer duties since the beginning of the year, and, apparently, the management considered that I had coped with it, that is why I was transferred to engineers.

In a new position, I have to work more with documents, draw up some documents, coordinate with the authorities an equipment purchase plans within the budget allocated for this purposes, by the way, our equipment can be very expensive, so the responsibility is much greater than I beared before. As an engineer, I am now obliged to be engaged in project activities - so noone explains me what I should do, I must know and be able to cope with everything myself, to identify and resolve problems in due time. It is important to foresee what can break or finish and where, to perform work ahead of the curve, and this task is not an easy one, cause equipment sometimes breaks down unpredictably. In addition, it is necessary to deal with modernization issues - it concerns not only developing, estimating and implementing, but also requires detailed analysis why it was not done before, and why such changes to the design or technological process were not made beforehead. We have to analyze the entire system we operate with, identify its critical points and make improvements if necessary.
As an engineer, I have got more duties,
but also more opportunities. If I feel that I can do something more, it must be implemented, with due responsibility.
I already mastered work of technician, then the routine began, but I always wanted something new, interesting. As an engineer, I have obtained more responsibilities, and a lot of opportunities from the other hand. Responsibility is always hard to bear, but since I already coped with this responsibility, I must manage to shoulder it further. If I feel that I can do something more, it must be implemented.

For me, something new is always interesting. This incentive is very stimulating - when a person is interested in his job, he works perfectly because it is his own choice. The Beko company provides me with opportunities to develop further, to try something new, there are both progress and stability. So I like everything here and сompletely satisfied!

Since March 2022 - Shift Supervisor of the Refrigerator Assembly Shop

I joined Beko in 2014 as a Polyurethane Filling Operator. After working for a while, I was offered to become a Setup Technician. In the position of Setup Technician I began to improve my skills step by step, eliminated something that interfered with setup, automated some processes. So after two years of work as Setup Technician, I learned my equipment thoroughly and could even become a technical specialist. In this position, I was rendering assistance to engineers, literally "travelled all around" the assembly line, and was offered to try the position of the Line Technician, cause there was a shortage of engineering personnel.

From one machine, which was assigned to me once my area of ​​responsibility expanded and I became at least engaged not only in the line maintenance, but also in production, beared a liability for performing the plan and for percentage of rejects, then my responsibilities extended again and included liability for storage of chemical components. So in March I assumed the the Shift Supervisor position.

The appointment was quite unexpected, cause production-associated issues were already familiar to me, but responsibility for people, permanent communication with other employees became a fairly global change. So many men, so many minds: some are easy to talk to, others are hard to prove anything. The most interesting thing is when you manage to find a due approach and establish a proper teamwork. And we succeed in this regard, I generally think that our workshop team is one of the strongest at the whole plant, our workers literally give all their energy to achieve common goals. There is no formal relationship, nobody works for self-demonstration purpose only, everyone is rooting for their work, dealing with production issues not only in leisure time, but even on vacation - our team members are really ready for such an estimable deeds, and I can give more than one examples for each one. Moreover, we are not limited to our department or workshop, we constantly communicate with colleagues engaged in production, even during meetings not related to work, discuss actual problems - everyone is interested in his work not less than managing stuff.
I consider the possibility of growth as one of the core strengths of the Beko company. Another strength is its stability. BEKO is the familiar trademark not only on the Russian, but also on the global market as well, it is a part of the huge holding.
Additionally, communication with colleagues, helping them is also a new experience for us. It is associated not only to solving problems or eliminating some breakdowns: planning can differ from shop to shop, various issues can be resolved alternatively - so we learn everything from each other. And as for my current appointment - this is not only career progress, but also an interesting opportunity for me to try new occupation.

I have been working in Beko for a long time and consider personal progress opportunity to be one of the most important features of Beko. On the other hand, I must mention stability: a large-scale company, known not only in Russia, but also in the global market, which is the part of the huge holding. So despite all the global changes, we have never faced salary delays. And in general, there were no problems or contradictions that the management would not try to resolve, and when you have normal relations with the employer, you want not only to continue working, but also do something more than just performing your duties.
