CHARITY
Invaluable support
The world is based on caring, sympathetic people who are not able to walk past and who are ready to provide support and help those in trouble.
Exactly such people work at Beko. Svetlana Anatolyevna Blinova, director of the Kirzhach Complex Centre of Social Services for the Population of the Vladimir Region, tells us how the company supports those who are in a difficult life situation.
Our Complex Centre of Social Services provides support to elderly citizens, people with disabilities, minors and their families who find themselves in difficult life situations and socially dangerous circumstances, as well as families having many children and low-income families. Therefore, our employees do a lot of work to find and attract caring charity providers who are ready to lend a hand to others. We knew that Beko participated in charity activities, cooperated with the local authorities, helped people who needed support. That was why one day we approached the company's management. And we are very glad that they have decided to help our beneficiaries.
Deep gratitude and appreciation to the head of the Beko plant, Mr. Gokhan Ozgurel who does not refuse to support families and citizens entitled to benefits.

The new academic year began on September 1. Preparing for school is a very exciting process. Children are happy to flip through clean notebooks that have not yet been touched by a pen, to put coloured pencils into new pencil cases and to fill in diaries imagining how excellent marks will be shining in each line.
But some moms and dads, alas, can not bring such simple joy to their children.

So that children from the families in difficult life situations do not feel deprived we held charity event "Help to Get Ready for School". It is a pleasure that Beko Company has been a permanent participant in it for several years now. On the eve of the Knowledge Day, the employees presented stationery kits to children from low-income families.
Each kit had everything necessary for school: notebooks and pens, coloured pencils and sharpeners, erasers and rulers, felt-tip pens, gouache paints and brushes, sketchbooks, cardboard and coloured paper, scissors. In total, 410 children received gifts and good mood. By the way, the employees of Beko helped some of the children to buy school clothes and some also got desks to start studying. Beko often comes to help our beneficiaries. They helped one person of the first disability group to buy a refrigerator, another one - a wheelchair, rehabilitation equipment and necessary household appliances. And kids from low-income families are always given sweet gifts on the eve of the New Year.

On the occasion of the Great Easter holiday, a master class on making Easter souvenirs was held for the centre's pupils. The children were very happy and received a lot of positive emotions. There is mini-club of vocational orientation for minors "Profi" in our centre. Beko employees arranged a tour around the factory for teenagers, told them how the production process was organized, and introduced them to the profession of an assembler. Good deeds make a person better and richer spiritually.

In our busy times, when the social situation has aggravated and there has been a global reassessment of values, the help of benefactors, sponsors, philanthropists to those who need support is invaluable, and the importance and necessity of charity events is more than important now.We thank Beko for their responsiveness and participation and we hope for a long-term cooperation.
Svetlana Blinova:

"We extend special deep gratitude to the employees of Beko Company who are constantly in touch with us. They are polite and neat people, they never forget anything, they carefully bundle gifts, deliver them on time and carefully unload them.
Special thanks to them"!
