Beko in Top Ten
The company received the award for being one of the largest Turkish investors

into the economy of the Russian Federation.

General Director of Beko LLC Orhan Sayman took part in the Business Forum "Russia - Turkey: Cooperation and Partnership. Turkish investments in the Russian Federation".

The forum was held in Moscow under the auspices of the Russian Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs. They discussed the implementation of investment projects with the participation of Turkish investors in Russia, the development of joint investment projects between the countries, the formation of favourable business climate between Russia and Turkey, the interaction of Turkish business with the regions of the Russian Federation.

Also, the presentation of the study dedicated to Turkish investments in the Russian economy was made in the course of the forum. The study was made by the law firm Nektorov, Saveliev & Partners (NSP) together with the experts from VEB.RF and the Russian-Turkish Working Group.

Based on the study, the rating of the largest Turkish investors and the most attractive industries and regions of the Russian Federation for investment was formed, as well as the list of potential Russian-Turkish projects that are planned to be implemented in the next 5-7 years in the Russian Federation.

According to the results of this rating, Beko Company is among the ten largest Turkish investors in the Russian economy.

With an open heart

Beko received the certificate of acknowledgement from the administration of the Vladimir region.

The company was awarded for charitable assistance provided in countering the spread of the new coronavirus infection, implementation of social projects in the Vladimir region, and its social responsibility towards citizens in difficult life situations.

The awards were presented at "My Business" Service Center in Vladimir at a gala event on the occasion of the Russian Entrepreneurship Day devoted to philanthropy and charity in modern Russia.

The event was attended by Dmitry Rozhkov, Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Vladimir Region, Galina Mardash, Acting Director of the Entrepreneurship Department of the Vladimir Region, Lyudmila Romanova, Ombudsman for the Vladimir Region, Alla Matyushkina, Business Rights Commissioner in the Vladimir Region, Yekaterina Smirnova, Director of "Open Hearts" Charity Foundation, representatives of large industrial enterprises, small and medium-sized businesses of the Vladimir Region.

Dmitry Rozhkov, Deputy Chairman of the Legislative Assembly of the Vladimir Region, praised the contribution of the business community into the fight against the spread of coronavirus infection COVID-19 stressing that philanthropy in Russia was always considered an honourable activity.

For her part, Alla Matyushkina, Business Rights Commissioner in the Vladimir Region, thanked the entrepreneurs for their active participation in the life of the region, nobility, responsiveness and unity at this difficult time for all of us.
