Diana Aryman
Commercial Director
This job is for me!
During my studies, I worked part-time as a secretary at the "Vestel" company and was simply shocked by how the sales people worked - life was constantly in full swing in their department, everything was in motion, in drive. And then I thought: "This job is for me! I want it too!" And when my temporary part-time job ended, I approached the head of the sales department and said that I was ready to deliver papers, count any signs, study 24/7, but just take me to you! They hired me, and one way or another, but for about 20 years now my work has been related to sales.
I am an extrovert by nature
What I really like about my job is interacting with people. Both with external partners and within the team. I myself am an extrovert personality type, and I am close in spirit to people of the same type - purposeful, energetic ones. I like to live at a fast pace and quickly solve emerging challenges, because in sales we live in short iterations, from month to month. True, as a manager I have to be not only a sprinter, but also a marathon runner: for example, we are now working on a strategic plan for three years. We need to analyze many factors to understand: what will the market be like in three years? What wants and needs will the buyers have? What products should we have? It's interesting, but also responsible.
The goal is to make an agreement with a person
Communication and negotiation skills are important in this type of work. Thanks to psychological education, this is to some extent easier for me. Intuition is combined with acquired knowledge. But I noticed that it was with practice in sales that I began to see people better - to determine an approximate psychological type, quickly notice the emotional state of the interlocutor, and understand what approach to him is needed. And then you can build your behavior, your conversation in accordance with the kind of person in front of you, because the goal is always to come to make a deal.
At home I am a mother
At work I have a leadership position in a huge department. And sometimes it’s difficult to switch gears at home, throw off this mask and just be a mother. Sometimes my eldest daughter tells me: "Mom, that’s it, you’re home, stop solving problems". Well, of course, I often "work part-time" as a consultant on household appliances for all my relatives and friends. What to do? I've been in this field for many years and really know a lot. I can advise a person on what to buy, depending on their needs and budget. It is especially pleasant to recommend the models produced by our plant. Not because I work here, but because it's a really good equipment.
