The project is aimed at improving the work performance of the workshop producing extrusion sheets, reducing defects and technological waste volumes. We have identified measures to reduce waste: 1) selection of optimal extruder operating parameters; 2) installation of melt filters with optimal cell size; 3) cleaning and modernization of equipment piping. A significant project stage was the launch of the new Jwell line, which provided a possibility of separate production of extrusion sheets with different thicknesses. As a result, we managed to reduce the number of defects by 40%.

The implementation of the project to launch mass production of washing and drying machines took 2.5 years, engaging all plant departments. Washing machine design needed serious modification. After engineering study of all details, test samples were assembled and passed comprehensive testing. And then the final adjustment of the optimal parameters was made. Finally, new equipment production was localized with minimal interference in the plant operation.

"Tank Tracking System"
Ivan Raskov
Developer, IT Department.
Project Leader
The project helps the quality department in the molding workshop to track the filling of screens with finished tanks, improves the management of tank blockages and speeds up the work. The IT department developed the software, and the related work - creating additional grids, their numbering, etc. - was carried out by the technical development department and engineers from the plastics department. Now, if the defect is detected the quality department employees only need to find a specific range of grids in the program and block it. Also, the project implementation made it possible to digitize cards with barcodes, which were previously filled out manually.
