Accounting is not boring!
Everyone knows that you need to contact the accounting department if you need to calculate the salary, pay the sick leave, or receive vacation pay. What else does this department of our company, what does it do for the plant and its team, what does its team live and be proud of, and how is it structured from the inside? The accountants themselves will tell us about this today.

– I have been working at "Beko" company for over 18 years – since 2006, since the very opening of the plant in the city of Kirzhach. Before that, I worked for seven years at a plant owned by "Koch Holding" in Uzbekistan, where I also started at the enterprise from scratch, with preparations for the opening, and then became the financial director.
Accounting is always the heart of a company, because nothing will work without material resources. And just as the heart is connected to all organs by the blood flow system, we constantly interact with all departments, give them the information necessary for proper functioning and receive feedback. This exchange occurs constantly and at different levels: I discuss tasks with the heads of departments and services, company employees turn to accountants on issues related to salaries, receipt of inventory, accrual of expenses, accounting of fixed assets, calculation of taxes and many others. To quickly navigate such a huge amount of information, we, with the help of colleagues from the IT department and external employees, are constantly improving the digital accounting system. We automate the document flow.
In addition to calculating salaries and accounting for material assets, the accounting department is entrusted with many functions, as follows: relations with the state, receiving various subsidies and benefits, preparing investment proposals, optimizing expenses, analytics, etc. And this year we have one more task - passing a tax audit, we try to do this with minimal risks.
Over the 18 years of my work, based on the results of many inspections, we have never had any significant problems or complaints regarding the records keeping. I am sure that our accounting department is one of the strongest in the Vladimir region, and I am proud of it.

– I joined "Beko" in October 2019 immediately to my current position, in the cost accounting team. Before that, I worked in Uzbekistan, at another "Koch Holding" company, and was both a chief accountant and a manager in various positions. By basic education I am a mathematician, and in accounting, logic and accuracy of calculations come first.
Our accounting department has four main directions - the accounting team, which I head, the tax team, the salary team and the analytical department: it employs not accountants, but economists and analysts who perform a wide range of tasks. Now we also have a separate direction – the treasury department.
The accounting department knows everything about the financial side of the plant: what is where, what debts and assets there are, what is in inventory and what we sell at what price. Our main accounting is carried out in a large SAP software product; we also use 1S and our own developments, since we periodically act as task setters, and some modules within SAP are added to our requests.
We never stand still, we are constantly improving, enhancing our professional skills, and monitoring the changes in legislation in order to promptly apply them in our work. One of the urgent tasks for us today is to help our colleagues from the city of Lipetsk adapt to the general corporate accounting system. This is not only theoretical help, but also daily practical solutions.

And in 2020, I already became the "Best Employee" at the company - with my help, a large Harmony project was implemented to automate transport and warranty reserve accounting systems.
Many people think that accounting is boring and that all accountants are gloomy people. In reality, this is not the case, we have a friendly and cheerful team, we love to arrange various joint events. Our job involves close interaction, and we need to communicate not only within our accounting department, but also with all other departments. Now we have one more plant, and we are establishing relationships, setting up and automating accounting in IHP as well.

– Before "Beko", I worked in a bank, but it turned out that it was not for me, I wanted to change something – and now I've been working here since 2018.
And I really like that in our accounting department we have many diverse tasks, we always learn something new, improve, look for some new ways and solutions to the problems that arise before us. I work in the treasury team, our direction is very closely connected with banks, with foreign companies, and now difficulties arise due to the sanctions. But precisely because we live in such a difficult period, we are starting to work with new banks, gaining experience and knowledge that we did not have before. We are looking for solutions together with the banks – and we find them.
