Hakan Kozan joined Arçelik after graduating from university. Back then, in the 1990s, the company had just launched a dishwasher plant in Turkey, and the young engineer gained excellent experience in setting up a variety of work processes. Over time, Mr. Kozan became Department Head and was later appointed Mechanical Head. In December 2004, he was offered the position of Production and Engineering Development Manager for Beko in Russia. After the launch of the plant in 2008-2009, he took the position of Head of the office.

Those who were close to Hakan Kozan during those years remembered him as a wise, energetic person who gets on the right side of any employee. Our editors received many condolences to the family and friends of Hakan Bey, and all of them are full of love, gratitude and respect. We share only a small part of them.

I remember when we were at the construction stage, we climbed to the first floor of the office on wooden boards, Mr. Hakan confidently said: “There will be black marble steps, and there will be desks...”. He was happy to do great things by creating jobs for people. And all the employees loved him. He worked day and night and put his whole soul into the development of the company. This is a huge loss. Many of us and I sympathize with his family and the entire Arçelik company.
