Book of good mood and smiles
Don't you think that refrigerators mean cold? But at the Beko plant there is almost a secret book that has been storing the good mood, joy and smiles of our colleagues for a year and a half - and this collection is constantly being replenished. Shall we open the wooden boards and find out the secrets?
The refrigerator assembly line has a mini-department dealing with non-standard components. The department's mission is to identify unfit material, sort, disassemble, document and transport it to specific sites, as well as initiate and participate in emergency, quarterly and annual inventories. This is a friendly and proactive team. The team's cohesive and coordinated work helps to bring any task to completion, understand each other without words and lends a shoulder to a colleague at the right moment. Effective teamwork brings more fruits and results. Being on the same page means feeling the mood or downturn of each team member. The atmosphere in this department gave us the idea to purchase a photo album to preserve our moments without offending anyone, but emphasizing the importance of each employee.
The album (or rather, a photo book) was purchased via the Internet - large, beautiful, with wooden boards like an antique box with leather and bronze jewelry. The most ordinary photographs printed on a color printer in A4 and A5 format are stored inside. Nothing professional, nothing special, just the life of the company’s workshops, sometimes taken literally on the fly with a phone camera. Each photo in the album is a living piece of a small department, an opportunity to hindsight. Photos reflect not only work moments, but also festive events. Almost all photos are taken with the thought or the usual adage: "as a memento".
When employees pick up this album and flip through the pages, an involuntary smile appears on their faces. Each photograph has a story and flashbacks. We preserve the memory and history of each employee. These employees are still with us, and these were students on internships, and these were employees who took part in our overall work.

We spend most of our live at work Various factors influence the atmosphere and productivity of the team. Our work tasks, the employees around us, their relationships and the mood they bring to work.
The “box” with records is gradually filling up, several pages will soon be added, and then more and more. Years fly by, people move, but between the beautiful “antique” boards there are records of what they were like and how they lived. Of course, the company also has official records (Beko magazine) with professional photographs, but such a “family” box with not just pictures, but sentiments cannot be found in any department other than this one.
It is a mistake to think that records are only about big events, big dates, managers or celebrities. Every day we create our own book of records: these are the records of our “family” within one of the Beko departments.
