I used to work as a manager at the Production Engineering in Beko LLC and now I moved to R&D. To be honest, I didn't expect this assignment, because I was quite loaded with the ongoing and planned projects in my previous department. But I am quite happy now with it and it was a place that I would like to be. I’ve never been here before, and this assignment means that I will live in Russia more so I am pleased to stay and work here.

My previous position was mainly related to the design of production activities and investment for new products production equipment, also for automation implementation and efficiency improvement of existing equipment as well as modernization of production facility infrastructure and production capacity increase.

My new responsibilities are not too different. I’m responsible for the design and improvement of our products, but now for washing machines, and refrigerators, in terms of functionality, reliability, and cost competitiveness. The main scope of work is related to the design and development of washing machines, washer-dryers, and refrigerators. At the moment there are new ongoing projects for the renewal of our both products: washing machines and refrigerators. Even more, there is a production of a new washer dryer product that will be started in Beko LLC for the first time.

It’s not an easy time to work. Due to the pandemic, we have some new challenges that we did not face before. For instance, there is increasing demand, so we face a lack of material supply. Another consequence of the pandemic on companies is that we have some delays in delivery of the production equipment that we invest in for the new projects. However, we have already planned serial production dates for new products which we strictly try to realize. Our strong side is our experienced and dedicated team that we all together try to create solutions for such kinds of events to realize our targets.
