In March, a cross meeting organized by the Project office was held with Beko & IHP Executive Director for Production and Technology Gökan Özgurel and the management of the Beko factory. The meeting discussed current projects for 2023.
The emphasis was placed on the optimization of production, improvement of the most important indicators of the factory, product quality, ecology and sustainability, automation and modernization of equipment, digitalization.

"Pyramids competition"
"Pyramids competition" is an annual competition of the Arçelik group, in which Beko takes part. The purpose of the competition is to contribute to the continuous progress of the company. Participants can implement projects corresponding to the nominations: "Creativity", "Digitalization", "Cooperation", "Society and Environment", "Growth Accelerators". This is a great chance to share the achievements, creativity of the team, as well as the most valuable experience.
The first stage of the competition was called "Pioneers" and held within the Arçelik family enterprises. Subsequently, the projects that won the title of "Pioneers" were taken to the next stage of the international level - the "Pyramid Competition".
Every year we discuss each project in detail with the management and creative team and choose the nominees.

Participation in the Pyramid competition is very important for our entire team. We wish good luck to the leaders! We look forward to victory!
New project-based learning methodology
The project office initiated the PMO Learning Platform project. This is a new training format for project managers and anyone who wants to get acquainted with the philosophy and project management.
As part of the project, the existing training program "Project Management Tools" was significantly updated and optimized, a practical block was added, the design was updated, and video tutorials were developed. Training "Effective presentation" is being developed, which will be held in June. The project office has also initiated an external risk management training for managers and supervisors. Internal training on this topic will be offered in 2024.
