Beko has been cooperating with the Kirzhach Complex Social Service Center and the Vladimir Regional Disabled Organization for several years. Throughout the year, our company takes part in charitable events that the center holds for its wards, and provides targeted assistance to the needy.
“Our friendship with Beko began six years ago,” said Svetlana Blinova, director of the Kirzhach Complex Social Service Center. And we were very glad to get more opportunities to support our wards. By the way, our center not only provides targeted assistance to people in need, but also tries to please them at least a little during the holidays. Every year we carry out some kind of events before New Year and Christmas, Victory Day and Knowledge Day, organize promotions for the Disabled Day, Elderly Day and Family Day.
Participation of volunteers, sponsors, philanthropists plays a very important role in the center activity. It's not just about holiday gifts. People who are supervised by social workers often face with serious material problems. And the assistance provided by philanthropists - for example, purchase of food packages, household appliances, wheelchairs, computers, furniture, repair or cleaning services - helps people cope with an acute life situation and turns to be an invaluable support. Fortunately, even in the most difficult times patrons and philanthropists who are ready to render mercy and compassion and not refuse to help the needy, are always can be found in our country.
“Together with our philanthropists, we have managed to do a lot for the people the center helps,” said Svetlana Blinova. – We arranged excursions and organized trips for low-income families and families with disabled children to the New Year performance in Moscow, collected food packages and rendered assistance for low-income families and big families, purchased furniture and warm clothes for children. All this would not have been possible without participation of faithful people.
This year, on the Victory Day's eve of May 9, the Kirzhach Complex Social Service Center, with the help of Beko, have got the opportunity to congratulate war veterans, home front workers, war children and give them sweet gifts. Prior to the beginning of new academic year, Beko helped to organize a charity event "Help me get ready for school!" for 400 children from low-income families who received school bags and bright and colorful school sets as a gift from our company.
On the New Year Eve, the Kirzhach Center holds a special holiday campaign “Present New Year to Children!” in order to congratulate 400 children from big and low-income families. Beko will also take an active part in this event. On December 28 and 29, the personnel of the center together with student volunteers and the Orion creative club, will organize a small theatrical performance based on New Year's fairy tales for disabled children and children from low-income and big families. Santa Claus and the Snow Maiden will hold fun competitions for the Center guests and give them sweet presents from the Beko company. Small children who were unable to visit the New Year performance in the Kirzhach center will be congratulated by Santa Claus and Snow Maiden at home, they will play a mini-performance and give presents.
