Hello future!
On New Year's days, the whole family or company can make a time capsule for the next year: list wishes, appeal to themselves in future with good advice, write a joke. However you can address wishes and dreams not only to yourself, but also to your beloved ones. It will be fun to compose, and in a year - to read it. A more interesting version of the game is making a collage, but in this case you'll need some preps: clippings of words and pictures from old magazines and newspapers. In a year, get together and check your cards: what came true?

One letter
You can turn toasting at the New Year's dinner into a fun game. Invite each of participants to come up with a toast, all words in which begin with the same letter. For example:
"F" - fairy fantasies, faithful friends, funny festivals!
"M" - merry mornings, multiple money, melting marshmallows!
"H" - have a happy holiday!
"C" - cook a candy carrot cake!
"T" - true tellings and tender therapists!
This game will not only entertain, but also extend imagination, train memory and enrich vocabulary!

Funny numbers
Ask each participant to write on a piece of paper any number that comes to mind. After that, game leader proclaims: “Now we can learn much more about each other,” and begins to ask questions, the answer to which will be the numbers written. The guest can be asked, at what time he gets up, how many watermelons he can eat in a single shot, how many toes he has on his left foot, how often he breaks the dishes, and so on.

Snow fun
Arrange a drawing competition in the snow during the winter walk.
Preps: take a plastic bottle with a pierced cap or a spray bottle and watercolors. Imagine and create! In addition, silicone baking molds can be used to freeze ice figurines and decorate a Christmas tree in the yard.

Games for children
If the location of adult games is mainly soft cheers around the festive table,
kids simply need some noise and activity.

"Till the snowflake melts..."
Children should be divided into groups, each group takes one big paper snowflake. The task is to carry it on the head to a certain place, and then handle to the following participant. Team that completes the task faster wins. Important: it is not allowed to tock snowflake with hands when it lies on the head!

"Winter Basketball"
For the game you will need baskets or or small boxes to throw artificial snowballs inside them. (Can be found in stores). The winner is one who throws the most snowballs!

"In the Santa's footsteps"
While adults are celebrating New Year, children can be engaged in searching gifts
left by kind Santa. Draw a schematic map with indication of the "treasure" locations. To pick them up, at each stage of the challenge child must complete a simple task: for example, sing, dance, guess a riddle, read a poem, spell a word correctly, do a push-up or pull tight. Thus, while the children wander around, you will have the opportunity to relax in front of the festive table!

"Film test"
What would a holiday be without photos? Make your photo session original: allocate a photo zone with a few New Year attributes, and invite guests to choose a role for themselves, for example: a funny reindeer (can wear a headband with deer horns),
hungry Santa Claus (a skewers with barbecue or a few sandwiches with caviar will come in handy here), a glamorous Snow Maiden (red lipstick, high heels and a lot of multi-colored tinsel will complement the image), a sleepy guest (no, it s not necessary to put face in the salad - just peaceful sniff on the neighbor’s shoulder is quite enough!),
a melted snowflake (should show how got it feels with
full expression).
