We all know how useful the active lifestyle is. Sport keeps you in good shape, strengthens your health, teaches you to achieve the desired result. And it also brings fun and pleasure. Especially if united and friendly family teams come to the start.

It was the family holiday "Mom, Dad and I are the athletic family" that became the first sports event in the recently opened sports and recreation complex "Leader" (SRC) and that gathered dozens of Kirzhach residents of all ages. Family competitions in Kirzhach district are held regularly but for the first time they took place in water, in the SRC swimming pool. The participants were six teams representing large enterprises of Kirzhach district: "Maximum" (JSC "Kirzhach Printing House"), "Dragons" (LLC "Deke Home Systems"), "Strela" (PJSC NPO Nauka), "Warm House" (LLC "Vinerberger Brick"), "Leader" (the administration of Kirzhach District) and the team we supported the most – the "Friendly Family" from Beko.

The head of the administration of Kirzhach district Ilya Bukalov and the head of Kirzhach district Andrey Dobrokhotov greeted the participants and fans with the welcoming speeches. Congratulating everyone on the first sports event in the hospitable walls of the new complex, Ilya Nikolaevich stressed that wonderful, friendly people live in Kirzhach district, and these competitions are not rivalry but a friendly meeting, in which, of course, friendship will win. He wished everyone great mood and easy passage of the competition and added: "Kirzhach district is also a family. And today we will see that this family, in addition to everything else, is also athletic".
And the head of the district, Andrei Dobrokhotov, stressed that the Leader SRC has become an excellent base for improving the health of the residents of the district. "We will make every effort to ensure that such a sports and recreation complex is not the last one," Andrei Nikolaevich noted.

Ilya Danilushkin, executive director of Deke Home Systems LLC, Natalia Tazina, specialist of the personnel directorate of PJSC NPO Nauka, and Mikhail Kuznetsov, chief engineer of Vinerberger Brick LLC, also addressed the participants of the games with words of greeting and support.

Evgeny Fedorov, general director of JSC "Kirzhach Printing House", and Sergey Telitsyn, head of the Administrative Department of Beko LLC came to support their teams.

The coach of the 1st category of Mikhail Seregin Sports Club, Sergey Nikonov, who headed the judging team, explained the rules to the participants and gave a start to the competitions. The atmosphere in the stands was very lively, friends, close family members, colleagues all actively supported the competing teams.

The competitions were held as fun games in water but still the exercises had to be performed as fast as possible. The children had to swim to the lifebuoy not far from the sides, put the ball in it and swim back, then the moms overcame half of the pool track, and after them the dads had to complete the distance – there and back. At the second stage, the parents had to tow the lifebuoy with the child sitting in it to the opposite end of the track. And at the third stage there was almost a water polo game: children "from the shore" gave a pass – threw three balls to the dads who had to throw them into the net at the opposite end of the track. It was noisy and very funny.

As a result, all the teams coped with the task with dignity, showing their unity, sportiness and focus on victory. The first and second places were won with the difference of only 0.2 seconds. It was generally agreed that there were no losers in these competitions. Friendship and sports spirit of all participants won.


At the end of the event, the head of the city of Kirzhach, Nadezhda Skorospelova congratulated everyone on a wonderful sports holiday and presented a TV to the sports institution on behalf of the administration. And the participants of the choreographic ensemble LA Dance Project pleased the audience with a spectacular sports dance.

During the event, the organizers were assisted by volunteers of the municipal voluntary headquarters who conducted a tour around the new sports complex for everyone.

This was a good start. And in the future we will have new competitions, in which, of course, the employees of Beko will also take part.

And the annual holding of the "Mom, Dad and I" competitions not only instills healthy lifestyle skills but also increases mutual understanding between children and parents. It's not for nothing that our team is called "Friendly Family" – and this is respect for each other's interests and personal values, mutual understanding, striving for common goals not only in the family but also at the enterprise.
