Charity
Colors of childhood
Beko's Moscow office held a charity exhibition of children's drawings and handicrafts for Children's Day. The event also raised funds to support a regional orphanage.
Childhood is the most wonderful time in everyone's life. And it's up to us, adults, to ensure it's filled with enough vibrant colors and experiences. The exhibition of children's drawings, timed to coincide with Children's Day, provided a wonderful opportunity for Beko employees' children to showcase their talents and discover their wonderful inner worlds.
In total, more than two dozen boys and girls aged 2 to 12 years contributed their unique paintings and handicrafts to the exhibition. All the works were displayed in the showroom, where for almost a month, the atmosphere of an art gallery reigned.
The children's works were impressive: some - for their uniqueness, others - for their spontaneity, and still others for their genuine artistic mastery. Our colleagues enjoyed viewing the masterpieces of emerging artists—landscapes, animal paintings, abstractions... All young artists were awarded art kits following the exhibition.
Fund raising information for the orphanage was posted directly at the exhibition. QR code for donations was broadcast on internal TV channels and featured on themed posters.
– Many colleagues responded and participated in the charity event, - commented Alina Liubishkina, HR Business Partner for Beko. – Our combined efforts raised 32,200 roubles. These funds were used to purchase a batch of stationery for the "Poltavsky House of Childhood" orphanage, located in the village of Poltavka, Omsk Region, where 20 children live. The supplies were needed to prepare the children for September the 1st. The purchase was coordinated directly with representatives of the institution.
Charity is an important part of Beko's corporate culture. Our Moscow office regularly holds fund raising events to help orphanages in collaboration with the "GdeDetDom.rf" charitable foundation. This allows us to provide targeted assistance. The funds raised are used to purchase exactly what the specific institution needs. This year, the beneficiary was an orphanage in the Omsk Region.
Orphanages and institutions for children left without parental care in the provinces are typically underserved by sponsors and desperately need care, so it was especially gratifying to help purchase stationery sets for the children needed for learning and creative activities.
We thank the Beko staff for their responsiveness and kindness.
Hello, School!
The Beko plant actively participates in the nationwide charity campaign "Help Get Ready for School".

This year, we donated 450 stationery sets and 40 orthopedic backpacks to schoolchildren at the integrated social services centre.
