Fresh Starters Ambassador Programme
Lead with Purpose. Inspire with Beko
Students can now do more than intern at Beko – they can become brand ambassadors at their universities and on social media.
Young people are our future. For many years Beko has worked closely with educational institutions, running internships and opening up real opportunities for professional growth and self-development. Following current trends, the company has developed the Fresh Starters Ambassador Programme, giving students the chance to become Beko brand representatives.
The programme is for students who are serious about leadership and have a genuine appetite for professional growth. Ambassadors can look forward to a packed agenda: mastering the art of engaging content creation, learning to develop original design concepts, helping to organise and run events for students, and telling future graduates about the career opportunities, learning programmes, and initiatives Beko has to offer. They will serve as the company's representatives within student communities and in dealings with university administrations, take part in research work, gather and analyse student feedback, learn from in-house experts, and attend workshops.
Personal career counselling, professional guidance, and CV support are all part of the package. Added bonuses include an expanded professional network, the chance to meet senior company leaders, a quarterly scholarship, branded merchandise, and a personalised certificate of participation.
The first company ambassadors were students who had shone during their internships and gone on to join the team: Danila Dmitriev, technician in the washing machine production shop, and Alyona Rozova, computer operator in the refrigerator assembly shop.
"Alyona and Danila weren't wearing ambassador badges. They were simply helping: telling students about the factory, sharing their own journeys, encouraging their peers, answering questions," says programme coordinator and Employer Brand & HR Specialist Yulia Ersal. "And they did it with such warmth that people believed them. Their informal support proved something important to Beko: real employee voices inspire far better than any brochure. Today they're sharing their stories, and we're taking the next step by officially launching the Beko Ambassador Programme, where any engaged student can become a voice for the company."

– I came to Beko for my work placement in April 2025. I was based in the office, but I still got to see the production side of things. The factory is modern and really impressive. I wanted to understand how home appliances are made and feel part of that process. I loved the atmosphere and the way colleagues treated each other. When the District Day event came around, Beko was one of the organisers, and many of the younger employees, including me, took part as volunteers. It was a great experience. There's nothing quite like being right in the thick of things.
I was really pleased when they offered me a job and worked out a schedule that let me combine work with my studies. My parents were supportive. My classmates were curious and asked lots of questions, and I shared my experience with them. Before long, four more people from my year wanted to do a placement at Beko. It means a lot to me that I helped them make that decision. It's a great company, and after I finish at Kirzach College of Technology and Services, I plan to continue my career here.
When I found out I was, in a sense, one of the "prototypes" who inspired the company to create the ambassador programme, I was genuinely surprised in the best way. It really is a great idea: on one hand it's a chance to step up and show what you can do, and on the other it gives students who haven't yet decided where to do their placement the chance to learn about Beko straight from the source.
My peers often ask not only about the placement and working conditions, but also about whether it's hard to balance work and study. I'm honest with them: it does take effort, and anyone who wants to do the same needs to get used to planning their time more carefully.
The Fresh Starters Programme is open to full-time students in years 1–3 of a Bachelor's or Specialist degree, years 2–3 of college, or year 1 of a Master's or postgraduate programme. To join, submit an application, complete the candidate questionnaire, and go through the selection process.
