Koç Holding Management Visit
On April 29–30, senior Koç Holding executives visited the company. They reviewed Beko's Russian operations and took a close look at commercial performance and the efficiency of manufacturing processes.
The delegation included the group's key leaders: Polat Şen – President of the Consumer Durables Group at Koç Holding, his first visit in this role; Nihat Bayaz, Chief Manufacturing and Technology Officer; Zafer Üstüner, Chief Commercial Officer for Asia, Russia and Africa; and Tayfun Arici, Consumer Durables Group Coordinator.

The first day centred on meetings at the Moscow head office. The executives met with key teams and discussed business results, the current state of the home appliance market, and the outlook for further development. The meetings placed particular focus on commercial strategy, product portfolio development, market trends, and strengthening the company's position in the region.
Stanislav Miroshnikov,
COO:

– It all went really well. We were nervous going in – we had prepared carefully – but the atmosphere ended up being very relaxed and conducive to open conversation. Senior management approved our plans for improving manufacturing, streamlining processes, and launching new products. Visits like this are incredibly valuable: they give you a chance to get direct feedback and validate the course we've set. What mattered most to us was the support and endorsement from senior management.
On the second day, the delegation visited Beko's manufacturing facility in Kirzhach. The day featured a presentation followed by a plant tour. The presentation featured Regional General Director Onur Dostel, Executive Director for Manufacturing and Technology Barysh Tekdemir, Finance Director Yalcin Karagoz, and the heads of the company's key functions.

The presentation was delivered by Barysh Tekdemir, who gave a detailed overview of the plant's operational KPIs, localization rate, current production results, and efficiency improvement initiatives currently under way.

Much of the presentation centred on cost-reduction projects – including optimising manufacturing processes, improving line throughput, automation, waste reduction, and more effective use of resources. Materials cost-reduction projects were also presented, aimed at making the product range more competitive and lowering the cost of goods without sacrificing quality.

Senior management praised the plant's strong KPI results and noted the team's high level of engagement in continuous improvement programmes. They highlighted the plant's systematic approach to production efficiency, the development of local engineering solutions, and the adoption of advanced manufacturing practices.

Following the formal session, the delegation toured the production floor, where they were shown improvements already in place. The group visited the main production areas and explored the technical upgrades implemented across the facility – automation projects, quality improvements, and streamlined internal logistics.

After the plant tour, Polat Şen addressed the plant's workforce, expressing his appreciation for the team's work and the results achieved. He highlighted the team's high level of engagement, the professionalism of the employees, and the plant's significant contribution to the Group's overall performance. He also stressed the need to keep building a culture of continuous improvement, collaborative teamwork, and higher manufacturing efficiency.
