The production of washing and drying machines is a completely new project not only for the Beko plant, but also for the Russian industry in general. Before this, all such equipment was imported from other countries. And, of course, the lack of experience in such production sometimes raised unforeseen difficulties that should be resolved quickly. The new product actually combines several functions, so it was necessary to improve the design of the washing machine capitally and equip it with dryer.
After engineering study of all details, a prototype of the machine was created. Then test samples were assembled on the line which were test in a comprehensive manner - for electricity consumption, water consumption, dryer operation, drying mode, and so on. And then the final adjustment of the optimal parameters was made.
We managed to find Russian suppliers for the body, drum and load-bearing elements of the machine; today we still have to purchase the drainage channel from foreign manufacturers. Several stations have been added to the assembly line to accommodate the installation of additional elements, that are not required for conventional washing machine. In general, new equipment production was localized with minimal interference in the plant operation.
New products of the Beko brand have already appeared in M-Video, Eldorado stores and other large chain markets. This B3DFR57H22W model has many additional functions and can be controlled either manually or via Bluetooth connection.
